Fly Geyser

Came across these photos… our world has such beautiful features.

Fly Geyser – Washoe County, Nevada

Image

Only 12 feet wide and 5 feet high, the Fly Geyser was accidentally created by well drillers in 1964. The formation we see is from dissolved minerals that began to rise. Sources say they expect it to continue growing! Water spays out the top at about 5 feet high, lengthening the formation. So cool how something like this was the outcome of workers mistakes.
